Centipedes

What are Centipedes?

Centipedes are often called house centipedes or "hundred-leggers" because of their many pairs of legs.  Centipede's color can go anywhere from yellowish to dark brown with some dark stripes and/or markings. Their size can range from 1/8 - 6 inches with a  shape that is elongated, flat almost worm-like with 15-177 pairs of legs. Centipedes always have an odd number of pairs of legs. They have small mouths and have large almost claw-like structures that contain a venom gland. 

How Did I Get Centipedes?

House centipedes prefer warm, tropic, humid climates. While they can essentially survive in any climate
